One address, and I am the person reading it. I answer most things, though with four people in this house it can take a couple of weeks.
What I like getting
The small ones. The tradition your family fell into by accident and cannot now explain to anyone outside it, the thing that gets said every single time you leave the house, the meal that is the only one everybody agrees on. Several pieces here exist because somebody wrote and described a version of their week that made me see mine differently. If something you send turns into an article I will ask you first, and I will not use your name or your family’s details unless you want me to.
What I cannot do
I cannot tell you what to do about your child, and I am not qualified to try. I do not do consultations, coaching, or advice by email about behaviour, sleep, eating, screens or schooling. Anything you are genuinely worried about with a child belongs with a paediatrician, a teacher who knows them, or a family professional who can see the situation rather than read a paragraph about it.
The notes box
The box on the homepage is a plain mailto link. Using it opens the mail program on your own device with a message addressed to the address above, which is a personal inbox. There is no list, no platform, and nothing stored anywhere else. The privacy policy sets out the whole of it.
Corrections
If I got something wrong, say so. It goes on the page with a note about what changed.
Brands
There are no sponsored pieces here dressed up as ordinary ones, and nothing is written to order. Read the affiliate disclosure and the editorial policy before sending anything. I do not accept placements aimed at children, and being sent something does not commit me to writing about it.
Using what is here
Quote a paragraph and link back, no permission needed. Republishing a whole piece needs asking first.
