This is the important one. I hold no qualification in child development, education, psychology, medicine or family therapy. Nothing on this site is parenting advice, medical advice, psychological advice, or a method for anyone’s household, and nothing here should be used to assess or decide anything about a child. What you read here is one person’s account of her own family and her own reasoning. Do not start or stop anything on the strength of it. If you have a concern about a child’s health, development, behaviour or wellbeing, speak to a paediatrician or a qualified professional who can assess the child properly. In an emergency, contact emergency services.
Accuracy
I write carefully and I still get things wrong. Everything here is accurate to the best of my understanding at the moment it was written, and some of it will age, because a household changes. Pages carry their last updated date so you can see how old a piece of reasoning is. If you spot an error, write to hello@joyfulfamilydays.org.
